A woman riding a Lime scooter in Brooklyn Tuesday morning was critically injured when she was run over by a van, police said.
The accident happened around 11.15am when the 24-year-old woman was driving next to the truck in Williamsburg, police said.
Both vehicles were driving east on Meeker Avenue when the 33-year-old van driver tried to drive right onto Skillman Avenue and hit her, according to police.
“She’s being run over by the truck,” a police source said.
The woman suffered traumatic injuries to her lower body and was taken to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition.
The truck driver remained at the scene and was not immediately charged, police said.
