Where to buy Pixel 6/6 Pro: Which dealers still have stock

Due to how well received it was by reviewers and Android fans, the Pixel 6 has become a difficult phone to buy. Here you can find Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro in stock to buy Google’s best phones for yourself.

Due to the ongoing chip shortage, combined with “high demand” for the Pixel 6 Pro, some customers’ pre-orders have been delayed, while retailers are having trouble keeping their phones in stock. The Google Store in particular is not currently able to ship new orders for the Pixel 6 Pro until at least January. Fortunately, getting Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro from anywhere other than the Google Store is far too easy.

Where Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro are in stock

If you are looking for an unlocked phone in the US, other than the Google Store, there are only four authorized dealers where you can buy Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro: Amazon, Best Buy, B&H and Target. Of course, all four retailers are limited to selling only what they can get from Google, and the demand for Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro phones is currently massively offsetting the available supply.

The two retailers you really need to keep an eye on are Target and Best Buy, as it is possible that your local store may have Pixel 6 units in stock in the store. Similarly, both retailers offer the option of having your order shipped to your local store for pickup – if shipping to your home is not a good option for your situation.

We will keep an eye on each retailer’s inventories over the coming weeks and keep you updated on the fastest ways to buy Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.

Latest update: As of November 2, 2021, all five retailers are able to take orders (or pre-orders, oddly enough) for the smaller Pixel 6, with some deliveries faster than others. With a little luck, you can even get pickup the same day from Best Buy or Target. Meanwhile, Amazon is unfortunately your worst bet for the little Pixel 6 at the moment, shipping in either weeks or a few months depending on your preferred color.

If you’re hoping to buy through the Google Store – a great idea for those with a Google One membership, given 3/10% credit – the Pixel 6 is a bit backordered, and the Pixel 6 Pro is available again, but it’s only shipped in the middle of January.

Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro from providers

In the United States, cell carriers carry a lot of weight in the smartphone industry. As such, it should come as no surprise to learn that many of them can get you Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro faster than retailers. Even better, many providers can offer financing for your new phone that is bundled with your cell phone bill.

On the other hand, you end up paying more for the smaller Pixel 6 if you buy through AT&T or Verizon, as these companies sell the mmWave variants, which cost $ 100 more than unlocked models. Worse, AT&T sells all their Pixel 6 phones for $ 40 more than any other retailer or operator, for whatever reason.

Latest update: As of November 1, 2021, the Pixel 6 Pro is still in stock with a number of providers, making them the best – and only – way to buy Google’s latest high-end flagship. It should be noted that Verizon is the only provider offering Pixel 6 Pro in Sorta Sunny, albeit with a small backorder. AT&T and Verizon are also the only providers offering Pixel 6 Pro in Cloudy White, though with a longer backorder of several weeks.

Fortunately, if you’re trying to get the smaller Pixel 6, almost every carrier you can think of has the phone in stock. It’s just a matter of how picky you are in terms of color, with smaller carriers often only offering Stormy Black colorway.
