The Monster Hunter Rise PC release will mostly be overtaken to switch

Capcom announced the PC release of Monster Hunter Rise will mostly be caught up to the Nintendo Switch version when it arrives in January 2022. To be specific, it will offer everything up to Ver.3.6.1. The official Monster hunter Twitter account confirmed this information. In addition, the official website listed the content that will be available to PC players upon release. It will include Sonic and Monster hunter collaboration, along with monsters made available through version updates. Capcom plans to have the PC version fully acquired for the Nintendo Switch release by February 2022.

However, the website confirmed that Monster Hunter Rise will not offer cross games between the PC and Nintendo Switch versions. In addition, cross-storage will not be supported. Capcom originally announced that cross-saves and cross-play would not be a feature for Monster Hunter Rise in October 2021. The developer and publisher stated that after researching to make this potentially possible for gamers, it would not be able to implement this feature.

Monster Hunter Rise is immediately available for the Nintendo Switch. It’s the new one too Sonic crossover. It will be released for PC through Steam on January 12, 2021. It Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak expansion is scheduled for a summer 2022 release. Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak will be paid DLC content.
