The iconic chef Salt Bae’s London restaurant employs workers.

But the hourly wage is the same as the price of mashed potatoes – or a corn on the cob – on his menu.

The vacancy on Caterer.com reads: “Great opportunity for an experienced Chef De Partie to join the Nusret team at the new restaurant in London!

As Chef De Partie you will work with some of the finest ingredients from the UK and abroad in one of the most famous steakhouses in the world.

“You will play a vital role in a great team and will support the chef during the service.

Salt Bae became an internet sensation in 2017, after pictures of him flamboyantly sprinkling salt on steak went viral.

Since opening a restaurant in Knightsbridge, London, he has been visited by people like Wayne Rooney.
