Sancroft Hall Care Home in Croydon has been voted by residents and their families as one of the top 20 nursing homes in London.
There are 1,307 nursing homes in London, where the top 20 receive an award from the UK’s leading nursing home review guide, carehome.co.uk.
The price is based on reviews of the nursing home written by their residents, as well as their friends and relatives.
Amanda Hopkins, review manager for carehome.co.uk, said:
“We now have over 200,000 reviews of nursing homes on carehome.co.uk, so we are able to give people a real insight into what a nursing home and its staff are like. Our reviews show the quality of their care, activities and nutrition as well as whether the nursing home is value for money and the standard of their facilities.
“Reviews of Sancroft Hall Care Home show that they deliver a high standard of care and we would like to congratulate them on being a Top 20 nursing home in London. It is such a great achievement to be named a top rated nursing home by the residents who actually receive the care, as well as their family and friends.
“Choosing a nursing home can be emotionally and physically exhausting, so we hope that our prices, which are given to the highest rated homes, will help make the search easier.”
