A man walked into an ice cream shop on the Upper East Side and groped a woman who worked there early Monday morning, according to police.
According to police, the predator attacked the 28-year-old employee at UES on Second Avenue near East 88th Street around 1 p.m. 12:30.
The man first backed the woman into a corner and tried to grab her before briefly withdrawing, according to footage from the assault by police.
A moment later, the suspect returned and forced the woman behind the counter and groped her, according to police.
The victim’s staff rushed to help her, and the man fled the store. He was still at large early Tuesday.
