Ok, I’m sure you know Katie Couric – the iconic one TODAY Show host known for his interview skills and professionalism.

Well, in the famous journalist’s new book Going there, Katie paralyzes a bunch of famous celebrities according to DailyMail who got a copy of the script.

We will break down what she said about each celebrity.

First, she wrote about Ashleigh Banfield, who at the time was a forward-thinking journalist hoping to get mentorship from Katie. Katie said she was threatened by Ashleigh because there is always “someone younger and sweeter around the corner.”

“One minute there was Ashleigh Banfield the next big thing. I had heard her father tell anyone who would listen that she would replace me. In that environment, mentoring sometimes feels like self-sabotage.”

Then she wrote about Martha Stewart and remembered a time when Katie joked about her at an awards show, and Martha did not find it funny. “[It took] a healthy humiliation (prison will do it) to develop a sense of humor. “
