Video footage sent to BUT shows a group of men standing in the middle of the road while they can be heard shouting inaudible words at each other.

A number of cars involved in the riots appear to be parked nearby – blocking the entrance to the street.

One vehicle can then be seen driving at speed before appearing to collide with a man standing in the middle of the road.

Women shouting and screaming can be heard before two more men could be seen as they appeared to be fighting each other with weapons.

Shortly after, a number of cars leave the place.

A resident, who wished to remain anonymous, said: “There were lots of shouts, then I heard another car screaming.

“They came out with balaclavas on and people were screaming. I did not leave the house. I was too scared.”

It is not clear if anyone was injured during the altercation, but police have confirmed that an investigation has been launched.

No arrests have been made yet.
