“Happy #Thanksgiving from me and mine to you and yours,” Parton wrote.
Dolly Parton gave fans something to celebrate this Thanksgiving.
Country music legend shared a rare throwback image with her longtime husband, Carl Thomas Dean, as she wished everyone a happy holiday on social media.
“Happy #Thanksgiving from me and mine to you and yours,” Parton, 75, wrote Thursday, adding a red heart emoji to the end of his message.
The “Jolene” singer and Dean married in 1966. Dean has maintained a sense of privacy throughout their marriage despite Parton’s superstar status in the country music world.
Last year, Parton opened up about “Good Morning America” about his life with Dean.
“He’s pretty much a loner and a homemaker, and I’m a gypsy. But when I’m home, I love it,” she said at the time. “We do not do the same thing, so it gives us different things to talk about. He does not engage in my business, and I do not do in his, so we have our own little world that we create for ourselves.”
