Manchester United have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Cristiano Ronaldo again, who is close to agreeing personal terms with Manchester City.
According to French journalist Santi Aoun, the transfer saga involving Cristiano Ronaldo is becoming murky every day. Manchester United have been offered the chance to re-sign the Portuguese international, who is also close to reaching an agreement with Manchester City on personal terms.
Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest players to ever take to a football pitch. A good legend for two clubs, Ronaldo first took the football world by storm while at Manchester United, before realizing his dream of playing for Real Madrid, with whom he enjoyed unprecedented success, winning four UEFA Champions League titles – titles.
The 36-year-old is currently at Juventus, after making his way to Turin from Real Madrid in a shock move in the summer of 2018. And on a personal level, the veteran forward has only gone from strength to strength and has managed a fabulous total 101 goals and 22 assists in 134 plays. But it seems that Ronaldo may be ready to end his period with Juventus, where Manchester United and Manchester City are linked with him.
Manchester City have been desperate to sign a productive forward this summer following the exit of Sergio Aguero. The Premier League champions were initially linked with Harry Kane before opting to stay at Tottenham. As a result, City have had to turn their attention to alternative goals.

To that end, Ronaldo has proved to be a viable target for Manchester City, with the player himself reportedly keen to join them. However, the neighbors’ income from Manchester United in the picture can complicate matters for the citizens.
Interestingly, Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Ronaldo again and there are no suggestions as to whether the Red Devils want to bring him back to Old Trafford. Manchester United actually have a stacked attacking unit, though Ronaldo would no doubt be an upgrade on pretty much every player at the club.
That said, however, Santi Aouna mentions that Manchester City are closing in on reaching an agreement with the 36-year-old on personal terms. There have been recent reports that City have offered the former Manchester United forward a lucrative two-year deal.
If Ronaldo has really agreed personal terms with City, it will come as a controversial move in terms of Manchester United fans. What is now left to see is if Manchester City ends up failing the Portuguese national team player away from Juventus, or if Manchester United do something by being offered the chance to sign him.
