Bronx fire: Multi-alarm fire burns through businesses in Kingsbridge

KINGSBRIDGE, Bronx (WABC) – A four-alarm fire burned through a row of at least four stores in the Kingsbridge portion of the Bronx Monday night.

Fire broke out in a restaurant on Bailey Avenue just after 11:30 p.m.

It spread to several others, including two more restaurants and a grocery store on the corner.

Video showed powerful flames shooting from the roofs of the buildings.

It took firefighters about 90 minutes to put out the fire.

A firefighter was treated for a minor injury.
