If there’s one band that makes me want to come back to the Commodore Ballroom to get some live music this winter, it’s Drive-By Truckers.
And if there’s another band that makes me want to come back to Commodore for some live music this winter, it’s Blackie and the Rodeo Kings.
They could very well be the best damn roots-rock act in Canada.
I mean, what do you expect when you combine three monster musicians and singer-songwriters – Colin Linden, Stephen Fearing and Tom Wilson – in the same group.
The good news is that BARK, as they are sometimes called, just announced a show at the sacred Granville Street venue on February 10th.
They are performing on their 25th anniversary tour with guests Digging Roots.
