The Las Vegas Raiders are looking to move their record to 4-0 on the young season, and here are some bold predictions for their game in Week 4.
The Las Vegas Raiders are in the midst of the best start the franchise has had for a season since 2002, as they sit atop AFC West with a perfect 3-0 record. After defeating the Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami Dolphins, respectively, the Raiders are one of five remaining undefeated teams in the NFL.
They appear to be holding on to that position this week as they visit rival Los Angeles Chargers for a showdown Monday night.
After overcoming a disastrous start to the game last week against the Dolphins, the Raiders gathered from 14-0 to defeat Miami in overtime, in a game that the Raider teams, which started 2-0 this year earlier, would certainly have lost.
This team is different.
The defense has through three matches proved to be a completely different unit than last year, under the new defensive coordinator Gus Bradley. The offense also looks much improved as Derek Carr has the best start to a season of his career. Through three games this season, it looks like Gruden’s long – term plans have finally started to pay off.
Monday night is without a doubt Raider’s biggest test ever, with Justin Herbert and Chargers waiting for them in Los Angeles. The Chargers have started the season 2-1, their only loss coming from the Cowboys’ hands in a close game.
Herbert looked phenomenal last week in a win at Arrowhead Stadium over the Chiefs, in what appeared to be a statement that Los Angeles is a real threat to Kansas City’s AFC West crown, not just the undefeated Broncos and Raiders .
In an exciting Monday night football match between these two heated rivals, let’s look at a few bold predictions for the upcoming Week 4 match.
