“How is this for a line-up: Pauline Hanson, Clive Palmer, Bob Katter and Campbell Newman. All the big names, all in one place, ready to take your questions.

“This will be bigger than anything we’ve done before. And if there’s one thing we can guarantee, it’s that one hell of a debate is coming your way. ”

The Pub Test will be hosted live from the Gold Coast in Queensland with all four political figures well known for their fighting words.

None are bound by a party message with Sky News Australia’s Brisbane Bureau Chief Adam Walters warning it will be “politics unplugged”.

“No party machine dictating the message it’ll be pure black and white all four combatants are known for never being short of fighting words,” he said.

“Apart from what some see as their out there radical views they do have one thing in common and that is a similar voter base.

“You might call it the barbeque brigade those Australians who might have a thirst for a beer but absolutely no appetite for BS as they may well say in their vernacular.”

Clive Palmer’s United Australia Party says it will fight to have a maximum of three per cent interest on home loans to save Australian homeownership.

Ms Hanson’s One Nation Party will continue her fight to limit the amount of immigration to protect jobs for Australians.

Independent MP Mr Katter will fight for the creation of a National Energy Grid facilitating resource development, the decentralization of population and continuous access to clean energy resources, specifically solar, bio-fuels, wind and geothermal.

Former Queensland Premier Mr Newman will advocate for a severe reduction in public service numbers.

Mr Newman is the Liberal Democrats Senate candidate for Queensland, Mr Katter will campaign to continue holding the federal seat of Kennedy which he has held since 1993 while Ms Hanson is looking to hold onto her Senate seat which she has held since 2016.
