A30 crash: Road closed at Bodmin and queuing traffic

The A30 eastbound in Bodmin has been closed due to an accident between the A38 Carminow Cross and Launceston Road. It has been reported that congestion is building on the A38 as traffic diverts from the road.

Reports of the crash came in at around 8:30 am today (April 19) and the road was closed shortly after. While it is not yet clear how many vehicles were involved in the accident, or whether anyone has been injured, there is reportedly queuing traffic in the area.

Roads and traffic monitoring website, Inrix, says: “A30 Eastbound closed, queuing traffic due to accident from A38 (Carminow Cross, Carminnow Cross) to A38 Launceston Road (Callywith, Bodmin). Congestion to the A38 which runs parallel through Bodmin as traffic diverts. “

Devon and Cornwall Police have been contacted for more information.
