Incredible footage has emerged of a JCB digger floating down the River Aire at Kirkstall after it burst its banks during Storm Franklin on Sunday.

Leeds has been battered with heavy wind and rain this weekend and the unrelenting weather has caused carnage with trains canceled, roads flooded and rivers bursting their banks with dozens of flood warnings in place across Yorkshire.

And now amazing footage has emerged of a JCB digger floating down the river during torrential rain in Leeds earlier this afternoon.
