Cochrane RCMP are searching for a man after an employee at a local restaurant was punched in the face when he asked a customer to wear a mask inside.

Police said the man entered Mr. Mikes Steakhouse on Quarry Street around 6:15 pm on Feb. 12. An employee at the restaurant then told the man he was only welcome inside if he put on a mask. The suspect in return punched the employee and left the establishment.

The suspect is described as being 35 to 40 years old, who is approximately 220 pounds with a heavy build. He has short brown hair with a mustache. He has light skin and was wearing a North Face hoodie, baseball cap and blue jeans.
He was last seen leaving the scene in a black truck with flames painted on the side. The truck was last seen driving east on Griffin Road.
Anyone with information relating to the assault is asked to contact Cochrane RCMP at 403-932-2211. Anonymous information can be submitted to Crime Stoppers.
